Jambi Secretary Welcomes Arrival of Jakarta TPB Karhutla Taskfoces

The Jambi Province Secretary Muhammad Dianto welcomed the arrival of the Jakarta Integrated Task Force on Forest and Land Fire Disaster Management (TPB Karhutla) at the Jambi Governor's Office, on Monday (9/23).

Always be vigilant

"Alhamdulillah, City Secretary Mr. Saefullah has also made a call to me about the arrival of the Task Force TPB Karhutla to help put out the forest and land fires here," he said.

Due to this disaster, he stressed schools have also been temporarily closed.

"Fire smoke here is quite severe. Based on identification results, there are 25 hotspots, including on peatlands with 10 meters deep. So, the fire is below the surface, despite the above is extinguished, when there is wind, fires can come out again," he explained.

I hope all officers can cooperate each other well as the extinguished land area is quite difficult terrain.

"Always be vigilant. We are very grateful and hope that cooperation between these regional governments can continue to be well established," he hoped.

As for the information, as many as 42 out of 65 personnel of Jakarta Provincial Government, related agencies and volunteers have arrived in Jambi.
